Prague is said to be the most magnificent when illuminated at night. Enjoy a buffet dinner on an open-glass boat with live music or admire the panoramic views with a drink during a jazz concert on board.
Take one of the many offered sightseeing boat tours on the Vltava River. You can choose to either cruise the mainstream of the river or explore the Devil’s Channel. These boat trips are ideal for family as well as solo travelers. Listen to the audio commentary while seeing Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, or Kampa Island as the boat passes by.
If you are looking for something more adventurous, we’ve got you covered. Rent a paddleboard and be your captain while sailing on the Vltava River. Speaking of sailing, we recommend booking an excursion to Sázava for a river trip. You will get a canoe for the whole day and, together with an experienced guide, will navigate your way through the valley of Posázaví. The river here is calm, the experience is suitable for all levels, and you can try the boat control beforehand, so there is nothing to worry about.
If you don’t feel like exercising on vacation but still want to do something fun, we recommend a visit to the zoo, which can be reached by boat leaving from the center of Prague. On the way to the zoo, you will pass landmarks such as the National Theatre or the Dancing House.
